IT was the teenage romance that thrilled the nation -- a popstar heartthrob and the daughter of a Taoiseach.
One decade later, ex-Westlife star Nicky Byrne and his glamorous wife Georgina Ahern are still making sweet music.
The popular Dublin couple marked their tenth wedding anniversary yesterday when they serenaded one another with photos and love songs on Twitter.
However, there was no time for a romantic dinner or a loved-up weekend away as former crooner Nicky was busy working.
Nicky (34) who is hosting RTE music series The Hit, spent yesterday in the O2 with fellow Dublin presenter Aidan Power as they put the finishing touches to the third live show.
While Nicky was working, Georgina (33) who is pregnant with the couple's third child, was taking things easy as she spent the day at home in Malahide with twin boys, Rocco and Jay, (6).
"There was no time for a dinner yesterday as Nicky was busy working with The Hit last night," a source close to the star told the Herald.
"I'm sure they will get to celebrate at some stage, but he spent most of his day at the O2 working on the show."
"Anyway, Georgina is pregnant so they were hardly going to be tearing up the town," added the source.
While they may not have been able to spend the day together, the occasion was clearly special to the cute couple.
The 34-year-old Dubliner posted a picture of his and Georgina's wedding shoes on Twitter before adding: "Our shoes still fit".
Georgina serenaded him by posting a video of the Celine Dion classic Because You Loved Me on her hubby's Twitter page.
Nicky and Georgina have been together since they were teenagers and they tied the knot in Wicklow's registry office before celebrating in style with another ceremony in Gallardon, Eure-et-Loir, near Paris.
