Kate Moss is officially The Wild One
The veteran model rides Marlon Brando's motorcycle for new campaign
Proving that age really is just a number - Kate Moss turns 40 next year - the British beauty has already secured a campaign for the autumn/winter 2013 season.
Matchless, the oldest motorcycle company in the country, launches a range of mens' and womens' outerwear later this year and decided that Moss' "spirit and personality fit the brand perfectly."
Shot in MC Motors in Hackney by the often controversial photographer Terry Richardson, these exclusive behind-the-scenes images show Moss working her brand of rock chic in the Notting Hill and Soho jackets paired with micro-mini hotpants.
But that's not any old motor shes' straddling - the late Marlon Brando rode it on set in the generation-defining 1953 film The Wild One.
We'd bet our Manolos that Kate can't actually ride a motorbike, but she's paired with a perfectly storied brand to moonlight like she can; Matchless Motorcycles was founded in south London by Henry Collier and sons Harry and Charles Collier. Collier won the inaugural Tourist Trophy race on the Isle of Man in 1907 (which takes in an impressive 158 miles) and the company went on to become one of the most important motorcycle companies in Britain.
We'll have to wait until June to see her in the full campaign with fellow Storm Models stable mate Andre Van Noord - which gives the Croydon belle plenty of time to get her motorcyle licence...
