RUMOURS are growing that Gladiator Russell Crowe hunk has been enjoying some workouts with Samatha Barks, his 22-year-old co-star in Les Miserables.
According to an Australian magazine, the 45-year-old actor has been enjoying the company of the young actress from the Isle of Man, and the pair have been having gym dates in recent weeks and tweeting about it.
Crowe tweeted “workout with @samanthabarks 4km walk, 30 mins elliptical, 4 mins prone hold, shoulder routine, lats, bench, turkish stand”.
The couple were photographed together having left a gym in LA last week. They were also snapped at an Oscars after party, where one guests described how Barks, was “continually touching his sleeve, giggling and sitting in awe of his every word, and he was lapping up every moment.”
Crowe has been single since he and wife of almost ten years Danielle Spencer announced their separation last October, the pair have two sons together.
Spencer is a singer and actress and most recently competed on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in Australia with Vogue Williams.
In January this year Samantha Barks told one interviewer how she has performed with Crowe’s rock band: “Russell and I actually do gigs – I gig with his band so I speak to him a lot.”
The actress, who starred as Eponine on the big screen in Les Mis and performed with Russell Crowe and the other cast members at the Oscars last week, said:
“We’ve done a few gigs in New York so far but whenever we’re all free, we all just love to have a little jam...it’s wicked.”
Her father in the Isle of Man has denied his daughter is dating her older co-star, and insists that they are just good friends.
