Inquest into Peaches Geldof death to start next week
It has been confirmed that an inquest into the death of 25 year-old Peaches Geldof will begin next week after her post-mortem proved inconclusive.
The TV star and mother of two was found dead at her country home earlier this month with police describing her death as 'non-suspicious'.
A post-mortem examination carried out at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford proved inconclusive, prompting further investigations. Samples of her blood and tissue were sent off to a laboratory for toxicology tests.
A 10 minute hearing is expected to take place next Thursday, May 1st, which will mark the beginning of the inquest by North West Kent Coroner Roger Hatch.
A statement released by a spokesperson for the coroner revealed that statement from a senior police officer will be heard and the coroner will release the cause of death.
The statement also added that a full inquest into Geldof’s death will be set for a date in late July.
