Laura Whitmore represents the Irish at the Prince's Trust Success Awards in London last night
It's no secret that Laura Whitmore loves a good red carpet event, but the Bray tv presenter was elevated to royal status last night.
The beautiful blonde was announced as an ambassador of the Prince's Trust, and looked absolutely thrilled as she was introduced to Prince Charles at the Prince's Trust Success Awards in London. She was uncharacteristically demure in a classic navy suit, and was joined by some of the biggest names in entertainment at the super exclusive event.
"So honoured to be an ambassador of the Prince's Trust and of course meeting HRH himself.. And Idris Elba," she said on Twitter last night. "Feel so inspired after today. Believing in yourself is so important so never forget that power comes from within and you're all deadly," she added.
Stella McCartney was awarded an OBE from the Queen yesterday at Buckingham Palace and last night's event marked the new additions to the celebrity royal representatives. Olympic medallist Victoria Pendleton was in attendance, as was Dame Helen Mirren, The Wire actor Idris Elba, Homeland's Damien Lewis and Tinie Tempah.
