Dame Helen Mirren has received commiserations from Mike Tyson after losing out on a Golden Globe Award.
Following the ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, Helen attended the HBO after-party. She was pictured posing with former heavyweight boxer Mike at the event, with the sportsman appearing thrilled to be talking to her.
Helen wore a green Jenny Packham gown with sparkle detail, while Mike went for the standard tux and bow tie combination.
The party was held at Circa 55 Restaurant and was the bash of choice for the cast of Girls, including Lena Dunham and Zosia Mamet. Rob Lowe was seen enjoying the food options of brussel sprouts and cauliflower, while Chris Pine opted to sip on a martini.
The awards ceremony saw some of the biggest names in the business gathering to celebrate the year in TV and movies, with American Hustle coming out on top after winning best motion picture. It's star Amy Adams was named best comedy/musical actress while Jennifer Lawrence took home the supporting actress prize.
Showing she hasn't let her success go to her head, Jennifer messed around with Taylor Swift at the event. Jennifer sneaked up on the country musician as she was being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest, with pictures showing her pulling a funny face as she crept up to her.
"I was going to come in and push you down the stairs," Jennifer giggled.
Taylor replied: "People would love that!"
Dallas Buyer's Club was another big winner last night, with Matthew McConaughey taking home the best drama actor prize and Jared Leto the supporting actor role. Jared portrays transsexual AIDS victim Rayon in the release and used his acceptance speech to talk about his preparation for the role.
"I'd like this opportunity to clear up a few things," he said. "I did not ever use any prosthetics in this film. That tiny little Brazilian bubble butt was all mine.
"It was a very transformative role, I had to do a lot of things to prepare. One of the things I did was wax my entire body including my eyebrows.
"I'm just fortunate that it wasn't a period piece so I didn't have to do a full Brazilian [wax]."
