The 27-year-old singer styled an all-white outfit and a figure-hugging black jacket and trousers combo on this week's trip to a recording studio in New York.

Gaga stopped to pose for photos and sign autographs with the crowds, before hopping into a waiting car.

Earlier in the day she wore fitted black trousers and a sequined jacket, covering up in a rare style statement.

Later on, she teamed an unusual crop top with flared pants and left her new hair extensions, which she debuted on Tuesday, down and loose.

Gaga has noticeably tuned down her eccentric style recently, although her latest music video still features the Gaga-like shock factor.

The singer is currently promoting her new single, Applause, after what she dubbed a “pop music emergency” on Sunday night.

After various clips of her song were leaked online, Gaga wrote a note to her fans, informing them that she would be releasing the single ahead of schedule on Monday morning.

“A pop music emergency is underway,” she wrote on her official website.

“Due to hackers an abundance of low/high quality leaks... we issue this pop music emergency... monsters spread the word.”

Gaga’s single has topped Billboard’s Dance/Electronic chart, although it was beaten in the US digital singles chart by Katy Perry’s latest release Roar.
