Flame-haired TV star Angela Scanlon and top photographer Davis Factor were hosting a private dinner for snazzy make-up label Smashbox.

'Xpose' presenter Michelle Doherty, 'What Women Want' presenter Maia Dunphy, 'Today FM' host Mairead Farrell, designer Joanne Hynes, Laura Whitmore, Aoife Cogan, Loraine Keane, Kathryn Thomas and Sonya Lennon all hurried inside to start talking about blusher, bronzers and statement lipstick.

"It's like a lovely girly catch-up," Angela said. "I just thought, let's invite loads of women who all admire each other and have a bit of a love-in."

Michelle Doherty added: "Talking about eye shadows and lipstick is the perfect way to lift those January blues."

MTV Europe presenter Laura Whitmore said: "I had lunch with my mum and will fly back tomorrow. I'm good mates with Angela and had the day off so had to come."

Kathryn Thomas, who was glad to get some down time from 'The Voice' and 'Operation Transformation' said: "It's great catching up with everyone."

It was Angela's first time working with the trendy make-up label and Davis.

"It's a super cool label and I'm delighted to be working with Davis, he's shot some of my favourite people in the world including (actor) Javier Bardem. I think he may have touched Javier which basically means he's my boyfriend," she laughed.

Place names for guests were in the unique form of hand-drawn portraits by Chelsea Bonus.

They were also given custom-made jewellery from Folkster.
