For most Irish models, asking them to remove their make-up is a cardinal sin; for natural beauty Holly Carpenter, it was a piece of cake. The porcelain skinned model, who is signed with Andrea Roche's model agency in Dublin has made her first appearance on Sky Living reality show Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.
And while we're used to seeing a significantly more 'done-up' version of Holly for photocalls and press events, her time on the show shows off her natural beauty. Host Elle MacPherson demanded that the former Miss Ireland remove the layers of makeup, the false lashes in order to take part, and it looks like it paid off.
While Holly is remaining tight-lipped about her time on the show, as per her contract, she tweeted last night that she has "no regrets" about participating and she knows that her family and friends will support her "no matter how the show is edited."
She follows in the footsteps of Love/Hate star Susan Loughnane, Hannah Devane and our most successful entrant so far, Cork native Lisa Madden, who landed a place in the semi-final last series.
Holly is fresh from a two-week long girly Greek holiday, and is currently helping her boyfriend Cian Healy in his recovery process after an ankle injury forced him to be sent home from the Lions tour early.
