Victoria Beckham loves going out with Marc Jacobs, as he’s one of the most "fun" people she knows.
The star has carved out a successful fashion career over the last few years, with her designs a favourite among the Hollywood elite. She has also struck up close friendships with a number of other designers, notably Roland Mouret and Marc.
Both men gave her invaluable advice about building a brand and creating a successful team when she started out, and she views them as mentors.
Victoria has now discussed her favourite five outfits of the last ten years, and among them is a black and white one-shouldered dress created by Marc which she wore to an awards ceremony in 2008.
“Do wear your heart everywhere but your sleeve,” she replied, when asked for her top style tips.
“At the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in 2008, I was with Marc Jacobs in New York, wearing one of his designs. He’s always a really fun person to go out with.”
Another of Victoria’s favourite fashion moments came during London Fashion Week in 2009. It was the first time she’d been since creating her own collection of high-end dresses, and the memory is one of her favourites.
“Do big yourself up. My first time at London Fashion Week since the launch of my Victoria Beckham label I wore one of my own designs,” she told Glamour magazine. “I was so happy to be supporting Christopher Bailey [creative director of Burberry]; it was the first time Burberry had shown in London for a while.”
