There was a lot of questionable fashion at the NME music mag awards
Since it’s not a formal red carpet event, it gives guests the chance to dress a bit edgier and show off their rock n roll credentials.
However a lot of the style on show left many style watchers some guests had just worn a T-shirts and jeans to the event.
First up was Irish style favourite Laura Whitmore in a skintight white dress with cut away midriff panels. Despite the nip in the evening, the Bray girl chose to leave her jacket at home and keep her legs bare.
Florence Welch wore a blue chiffon floaty number with a skirt that resembled a pair of velvet curtains. It also had a questionable panel covering her bust.
Stylist to the stars Zara Martin wore a red leopard print dress, bare legs and black ankle boots, while Harry Styles’ former squeeze Caroline Flack chose not to wear her usual uniform of shorts, but instead opted for a white loose fitting dress. Her normally ombre hair was toned down to a dark chestnut shade, with a splash of colour coming from the hot pink lipstick she wore.
Newly wed Ronnie Wood’s wife Sally looked to be taking style tips from Kate Middleton in a demure below the knee dress, with the customary nude heels.
The men folk at the event also made some strange style choices. The Wire star and DJ Idris Elba woe chose to wear a bobble head red wooly hat and Tim Burgess of The Charlatan sporting a rain jacket and man bag on the red carpet.
