Sienna Miller and fiancé Tom Sturridge are rumoured to have been signed up by Burberry.
Romeo Beckham has got competition. The 10-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is reportedly being replaced by British acting couple Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge for the brand's latest campaign.
Just last week, at the opening night of Orphans, a Broadway play in New York in which Sturridge co-stars alongside Alec Baldwin and Ben Foster, the couple were dressed by Burberry. Miller donned a classic belted trench and toted 'The little Crush', a heart-print clutch that is the brand's key bag for the new season. The Mail on Sunday reports that they will star in the London Fashion Week label's autumn/winter 2013 campaign.
Factory Girl star Miller, 31, who started out as a model, is the current face of Boss Orange fragrance and French fashion label Caroll. She and Sturridge, who last graced cinema screens in an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's On the Road, have a nine-month-old daughter, Marlowe.
Once a 'boho-chic' style icon, Miller recently told French newspaper Le Figaro that as a new mother, she doesn't have much time for fashion. "I don't know what the new fashion trends are! With my daughter, Marlowe, I don't have time to follow this anymore," she said. "I love fashion but I'm not obsessed by it. I love work, my style, but I don't think only about that, even though some people want to believe the contrary. I don't wake up in the morning saying, 'Hmm, what an icon I am!' My life is very different; I've got a baby who leaves me only two hours of peace each night."
Burberry ran a series of campaigns starring couples last year, albeit not real-life ones; Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes took over from Cara Delevingne and Eddie Redmayne.
Rumours also point to British model and socialite Suki Waterhouse who is dating Bradley Cooper joining them in the ads. A spokesperson for Burberry declined to comment.
