Lindsay Lohan returns half of Don O’Neill’s dress
My, how much can change in just one week. Only days ago, Lindsay Lohan was finally being talked about for the right reasons - her sensational red carpet appearance.
The troubled actress seemed to have turned it around, and dazzled in a sequinned gown by Irish designer Don O’Neill’s couture line Theia on the red carpet. She look fresh faced, healthier and shined in sequins. But, old habits die hard...especially when you’re Lindsay Lohan.
Kerry native Don, who has fans in Oprah and Gwyneth Paltrow, was given a very big surprise when Lindsay returned the dress - as only half came back. Literally. The €1,500 gown is now in absolute tatters - with rips, holes and Lindsay even cut the bottom half of the dress off entirely.
"She said that the dress had ripped at a club after the fundraiser and she couldn't possibly wear it like that. So her stylist friend went to the club bouncer and requested some scissors to repair the torn part of the dress," a source told Us Weekly. "But what bouncer has scissors?"
“She turned it into a mullet! Only a fashiony person would do that! " the insider continues. "She's out of control and behaving really badly."
The dress in question has become story enough of its own. Charlie Sheen pulled a favour for his Scary Movie 5 co-star by offering to “go halfsies” on the gown, if she wished to purchase it, but rather, she borrowed it instead.
Much to Theia’s dismay we’re sure.
