Talk about a fashion marathon.
Dubliner Emily O'Donnell set forth on a style crusade: to wear 365 unique and stand-out ensembles over the course of a year.
Despite her enormous wardrobe, Emily admits that she often encounters the 'I have nothing to wear' dilemma.
"I thought it would be a fun challenge to wear 365 different outfits in 365 days," Emily said.
"And no one else had done that in Ireland so I gave it a go.
"There were some days finding something new in the wardrobe seemed like a challenge -- I think all women have been there."
Emily (30) writes for website beautycouture.ie and says she has always had an eye for fashion.
"I've always loved clothes and jewellery. When I was a kid I was always getting dressed up in a crazy outfits," she said.
"In the last couple of years, whenever I tweeted a picture of an outfit I was wearing I would get loads of people asking where I had got my shoes and belt from -- that sort of thing.
"So it all sort of came together in this big fashion marathon," she said.
Over the past year, Emily, from Leopardstown, got dressed in a chic ensemble, snapped it and shared it with her followers. And it wasn't long before her blog became a firm favourite with fashion editors around the country.
"The reaction was great, people would start sending me emails asking about the clothes," she said.
"It was really hard during the summer when we had that heatwave. All I wanted to wear was shorts and a t-shirt but I had to dress up a bit more.
"Doing the blog gave me incentive to think creatively, mix and match different items and make sure I use everything in my wardrobe.
"I'm donating a lot of the outfits to Enable Ireland now that I've finished the challenge. It does feel like the end of an era but it was so much fun doing it," she said.
Emily also presents for online fashion channel Fashion One and is a regular fixture on the social scene.
