IRISH designer Orla Kiely is fast becoming a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge, as she wore another of her creations at an engagement yesterday.
The Duchess, visiting a school in London with father-in-law Prince Charles, wore a pleated grey dress by the Irish designer.
The Duchess was visiting Dulwich School to see work created by children from a youth charity.
She even took an opportunity to do some housework – ironing paintings onto paper. “It’s just like being back at home” she joked.
Earlier in the day she played hockey with the British Olympic team at Stratford’s Olympic Park. Despite being a former captain of her school team, Kate admitted to being a little out of practice – it didn’t show however, as she went to score a goal.
An Orla Kiely coat the Duchess wore during an appearance last month sold out in all sizes within a matter of hours.
