Thanks to artist Inaki Aliste Lizarralde we can now get a bird's-eye view of Carrie Bradshaw's Upper East Side apartment from 'Sex And The City'.
For six years we followed every detail of Carrie Bradshaw's life - the ups, the downs, the boyfriends, the jobs, and, of course, the wardrobe. But there was always one thing that stayed the same - her Upper East Side apartment.
Each episode we'd envy her designer-packed walk-in closet (which is oddly situated in a corridor between the kitchen and bedroom) and wish we too were an independent woman with her own little apartment in New York.
Well, now we can get a more detailed peek into that very apartment thanks to artist Inaki Aliste Lizarralde, who is just one of a group of artists that draw floorplans of the apartments featured in popular television series. Mad Men, Friends and Frasier have all been given the same treatment.
Earlier this year the five-story house on New York's 64 Perry Street which was used for the exterior shots of Carrie's apartment sold for £6.1 million. The exterior was featured in the first three seasons of the hit HBO series, before filming moved just one door down to number 66 Perry Street - a more ornate and well tended residence - for the remaining three seasons and two movies.
While we might not be able to afford the real thing, at least now we can dream in more detail.
