'Framed': high street fashion hits the catwalk

Leaving Cert student Abby wears wears a plum coloured textured shift dress, Victoria by Victoria Beckham (€585), Kurt Geiger Heels (€120), Ted Baker (€100) and mustard yellow box clutch with metallic clasp, Sophie Hulme (€43)

SAVVY shoppers facing style conundrums will have their questions answered at the 'Fashion Framed' events taking place at Dundrum Town Centre next weekend.

Wendy Crawford, Nicky Maye and Fiona Hayes, three members of the Dundrum Personal Style Team, will be selecting outfits for the show based on winning looks they've seen working for clients in changing rooms – and the high street's take on stylish designer looks from the catwalk.

Ahead of the event, stylist Nicky Maye looked beyond most women's fashion crutch – black from head to toe – and dressed models Abby and Caitlyn in a blend of colours and silhouettes.

Abby, a Leaving Cert student from Co Kildare, is seen here wearing a plum-coloured textured shift dress from Victoria Beckham's second, more affordable range, Victoria by Victoria Beckham (€585) which sells at BT2 in Dundrum.

Nicky kept away from the traditional autumnal palette of greens and browns for Caitlyn, and worked mustard with navy and a dash of purple, in an outfit from Hobbs.
