SINGER Andrea Corr and actress, author and shoe designer Amy Huberman came out to support friends taking part in the Irish Designers CREATE pop-up shop at Brown Thomas in Dublin.

Andrea, who is expecting her second child, came to support long-time friend Lucy Nagle, whose new cashmere collection went on sale in the Grafton Street store yesterday.

And the collection was so good, Andrea ended up buying one of Lucy's black-and-lurex pieces for €249.

Amy left six month-old baby Sadie at home to support fellow Leinster rugby wife Dairine Kennedy, the other half of Leinster rugby captain Leo Cullen, whose KDK luxury scarves are part of the month-long installation which showcases the work of 13 talented designers.

Dairine launched the luxury brand with her sister Keira. Husband Leo, who was announced as the Leinster captain for the sixth season in a row, also attended the party in the store.

"I can't wait for winter so I can wear my KDK scarf," said a smiling Leo as he posed for promotional photos. Amy said she was off to the Toronto Film Festival next week for the international launch of her film 'The Stag', co-starring Andrew Scott and Hugh O'Conor, the talented actor-turned-director who directed Amy in her Newbridge Silverware adverts.

"We shot the film last November and Sadie isn't travelling with me, she's at home with Brian," said Amy, who arrived in gold shoes.

"No, they're not mine, I got them in Zara," explained the star.

Jewellers Maria Dorai Raj and Chloe Townsend of Willow & Clo attended the launch, along with Lucy Nagle, Derek Lawlor, Honor Fitzsimons, Emma Manley, Lisa Ryder, Rebecca Marsden, Sean Byrne and Lisa Shawgi.

An installation of pieces by Irish couturier Sybil Connolly, the Welsh-born woman who dressed Jackie Kennedy for her official First Lady portrait, also generated huge interest.
