Carine will also “produce limited series of fashion stories” for every one of the magazine’s 26 international editions, according to a press release by publishing company Hearst.
"This collaboration marks the first time anything like this has been done and we’re very excited about what Carine will bring to Bazaar editions around the world," Duncan Edwards, president and CEO of Hearst Magazines International, told The Huffington Post.
The fashion mogul’s collaboration with Hearst could further spark conflict with Condé Nast, who publish Vogue.
There has been tension between Carine and the publishing house since she left her position as Vogue editor in 2010 to pursue her own magazine.
Despite her new role at Harper’s Bazaar, Hearst assured Carine will continue to run CR Fashion Book.
The latest collaboration marks the end of a busy year, in which the fashion icon also teamed up with MAC to produce her own make-up line.
