The moody black-and-white ad has been spoofed numerous times on US television and called, amongst other things, "atrocious" and a "disaster". But it seems it's all water off a duck's back to Pitt.
"I've been overseas, so I've been blissfully protected," the 48-year-old actor told Access Hollywood when asked about public reaction to the campaign. "I haven't [seen the parodies], but I say absolutely fair play, fair play."
He also said he "kind of liked" the finished advert (woah there Brad, calm down ), and that he respects what Chanel do, or as he eloquently put it: "They do some really quality things."
We're glad Brad was "blissfully protected", but somehow we don't think it was being overseas that did it (we're pretty sure they have television/ newspapers/ internet there), but the £4.32 million paycheck cushioning him from the comic backlash
