The gold silk tuxedo worn by Beyoncé in her Love On Top video is to be sold for charity - but the superstar danced so hard during the filming that the arms of the jacket had to be sewn back on before it could be sold.
The tux has been donated by its designer Douglas Hannant, and will sell for $750 (€925) as opposed to its original $5,600 (€6907) price tag. The metallic suit appeared in Hannant's autumn/winter 2011-12 collection, and was selected by Beyoncé's stylist for the dance-packed video.
It will be part of a charitable auction held by the Park Avenue Garage, a renowned auctioneer who sells lightly used or new goods from some of New York's most stylish and rich residents, this coming weekend in the Chelsea area of New York, reports Page Six .
The mega-star has just signed an endorsement deal with Pepsi that is said to be worthy $50 million, so she definitely won't need to worry about finding the money to replace all her other dance-damaged garments.
