Doutzen Kroes 'feels 'guilty' about her supermodel body
Doutzen Kroes feels guilty about being a top model.
The Dutch beauty revealed her feelings in light of other women's self-esteem issues, admitting models can make some girls insecure.
But she does think the new Model Alliance bill to protect underage models is a step in the right direction.
"Sometimes it makes me feel guilty now that I am in this profession that makes certain girls insecure. I always say, I don't look like the picture. If you put me in bad light with no hair and make-up, it's not good," she modestly told the New York Post.
The 28-year-old has been a Victoria's Secret Angel since 2008, and was listed by Forbes as the fifth top earning model in the world in 2012.
But even catwalk stars can suffer from a crisis of confidence, and Doutzen confessed that sometimes when she looks in the mirror first thing in the morning, she doesn't even recognise herself.
"I wake up sometimes like, this is not what I see when I look at the magazine, who is this visitor in the bathroom?" she revealed.
There have been numerous rumours that some of Victoria's Secret biggest names won't be making an appearance at this year's runway show.
The New York Post has reported that Erin Heatherton, Jourdan Dunn, Cara Delevingne and Anne V will be missing from the catwalk.
The show will air on December 10, with Candice Swanepoel wearing the $10 million Royal Fantasy bra.
