The blonde beauty opens up about the importance of maintaining a healthy heart
Tiffany Stanley is famous in the modelling industry for her incredibly toned figure and healthy diet approach. But the AR model has revealed that her motivation comes from a much deeper level than simply looking good.
Although it's part of her job requirement to be in tip-top shape, she opened up about her family's history with heart disease and how it's motivated her to become as healthy as possible.
"There is a history of heart problems in my family," she told Fit magazine, out in today's Irish Independent. "My granny had a major operation - she had her valve replaced. My brother, Tom, also has a heart condition, he has an irregular heartbeat and gets palpitations.
"The heart is something we should really look after. There is a lot of a heart disease in Ireland. I feel that with a good diet and moderate exercise, people could limit their heart problems."
Meanwhile, the bubbly blonde is determined to educate the Irish on the importance of living well and the benefits of exercise. "I would like to spread the word about how fitness and living a healthy lifestyle can really benefit people because I feel that a lot of people could do with a bit more advice on working out," she added.
"Quite a large percentage of the population is overweight. I am more of a fan of the paleo diet and eating clean. I think people should be focusing on eating vegetables, meats and fruit."
What are her secrets to a slim and toned physique? "I am a big fan of weights," she explained. "I think women are a little bit scared of doing weights because they feel they are going to get really muscular, but it actually has the opposite effect. It can really tone and tighten you and make you smaller and leaner."
