FITNESS expert Karl Henry has unveiled a new 30-day plan to ease people through shedding those extra pounds.

With growing awareness of the health risks linked to obesity, personal trainer Henry has used his skills honed in the gym to create a new diet and exercise plan.

"Long-term health and well-being is what life should be about," said Henry of his newly devised 30-day Beach Body Plan.

Henry's new plan will be unveiled in Saturday's Irish Independent 'Weekend' magazine. Readers will then be able to follow the plan until Friday, May 24. It will contain shopping guides, recipes and a training plan.

Extra videos and live chats will be uploaded to independent.ie throughout the week.
