MODEL Yvonne Keating has spoken of her life as a single parent while estranged husband Ronan is away touring.
The 38-year-old said that while she and the Boyzone singer were "co-parents" and in daily contact over their children, she "covers all bases" at home in Malahide, Co Dublin.
"Ronan is still involved, but away all the time. But there isn't a day that goes by when we don't talk about the kids. We are still parents and our priority remains our children," she told the Irish Independent.
Launching Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium in Dublin last night, the model and columnist said she has "never been happier".
"Sometimes when you are a single mother, you are trying to cover all the bases, and be all things to everyone. That's why I do feel busier, and a better parent."
However, she hinted at the difficulty of remaining friends for the sake of children Jack (13), Missy (11) and seven-year-old Ali.
"Look, it's not easy. You do have to work at keeping it amicable. We all got together at Christmas.
"You do it for the kids, you get together at Christmas to keep it traditional," she said.
However, she declined to comment on whether Keating's new partner, Australian TV producer Storm Uechtritz, had been part of the family festivities.
Now in a new relationship with cameraman John Conroy, the mother-of-three declined to comment when asked if she would marry again.
"I live in the moment of today," she said.
