It was a "dramatic" day for Yvonne Keating as her 14-year-old son broke his collarbone in three places during a rugby match.
The Celebrity Masterchef contestant shared the news with her Twitter followers last night that her teenage son, who has proven to be a promising schools rugby player, has suffered his first sports injury.
The eldest Keating child has broken his collarbone in three places after a particularly gruelling match.
"De-stressing with Downtown/wine after a dramatic day. @jack_keating99 broke his collar bone in 3 places playing rugby," she said on Twitter last night.
When asked about his recovery, Yvonne added: "e's on the road to recovery. Tough as nails that fella!"
Meanwhile, the budding tv personality is making waves in the UK after landing a cooking slot on ITV's This Morning. And she explained that Louis Walsh had been instrumental in her making it over the pond.
"I bumped into Louis and he was brilliant telling me 'you have to do this' and 'you have to do that'," she said last month.
"He was so lovely and so supportive. I don't have an agent in the UK and Louis has been brilliant among a number of very supportive people.
"I got that thing that presenters talk about, where the adrenaline and the buzz takes you over, I can see why people loving doing it. It's funny, because when I did Celebrity Masterchef, I was a nervous wreck.
"It was the cameras and the judges and it wasn't my style of cooking. I felt I was in over my head. Then I did This Morning, which threw me in at the deep end, but I felt more relaxed after a while, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger," she said.
