Caroline Wozniacki knows how to get peoples’ tongues wagging.

The tennis star, who has reportedly split from golfer Rory McIlroy, has kept people questioning her relationship status with another online photo post.

The 23-year-old Dane shared a photo this morning of herself, McIlroy and her brother Patrik eating breakfast. It is unclear as to whether the photo was taken today or previously.

The snapshot shows the three sitting around the table; Patrik shirt-less and McIlroy dressed to impress in a suit.

“Breakfast at the Wozniacki's! Overdressed, underdressed and not dressed at all!,” the star captioned the photo.

Neither Wozniacki or McIlroy have denied or confirmed the split, but instead took to social media site Twitter to add to the intrigue surrounding their apparent break-up.

Twenty-four-year-old McIlroy took to social media site Twitter yesterday for the first time in days.

McIlroy cryptically said that informed sources were "wrong 99.9pc of the time".

After McIlroy's comment, Wozniacki responded to his tweet saying: "Ha ha. That's not a very good percentage. Lol (laugh out loud)"

And the tennis star later posted a picture of herself with the golfer after reports that McIlroy had ended their relationship after two years. "Since my profile pic made big headlines I better change it again lol," she wrote as she posted the picture.

The Irish Independent understands their relationship ended recently.

Reports in other media said the golfer was advised by his management team to announce the end of his relationship with the Dane last Friday at the press conference following his second round of The Barclays at Liberty National in New Jersey.

There was initial speculation after fans noticed the couple had both changed their Twitter profile pictures from a 'his and hers' shot, to a single portrait.

"Just because we changed our Twitter profile picture doesn't mean that we're not together," the golfer said.
