SHE has never been afraid to shimmer and sparkle with a series of brave fashion choices lighting up our TV screens.
And Ireland's favourite weather girl Jean Byrne brought some cheer to a lunch party with a bold blue dress covered in sequins.
The RTE presenter pulled it off, wowing fellow guests who had braved the cold and wintery weather.
Byrne's Balmain outfit was the latest in a long line of far-out fashions worn by the meteorologist.
They range from futuristic leather creations, to a slashed "spider web" dress, to a famous slinky silver dress she wore on TV at Christmas 2009.
She won over an army of fans who joke that she always looks hot regardless of the temperature.
Byrne was pictured at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud in Dublin at the annual lunch for Cill Rialaig, an artists' retreat in Co Kerry run by Noelle Campbell Sharp.
