ACTRESS and model Vivienne Connolly has split from producer John Norton.
The couple split several months ago, but kept it under wraps.
“John and Vivienne are not together any more,” a source close to the former couple confirmed.
“They separated several months ago. There is no bad blood between them and they still remain friends.”
The two first met at the VIP Style Awards in March 2011 and Straywave producer John tried to get Vivienne to star in his TV3 programme ‘Dublin Wives’.
Vivienne (40) declined but after several messages from John on Facebook and Twitter, agreed to go for dinner with him.
Soon afterwards, pictures of the pair together emerged.
“She was really embarrassed when pictures of her and John togther first got out.
“At the end of the day, kids are involved and she doesn’t want them to get caught up in this. She wants to protect them,” the source added.
Vivienne has two children, Ben (9) and six-year-old Katie, from her marriage to Mark Dunne, son of former supermarket boss Ben Dunne.
The two split in 2009 – with Vivienne later described it as “the worst thing that has ever happened to me”.
When asked about her split from John, Vivienne said: “I don’t want to comment – John is a lovely guy.”
Vivienne played scheming Ingrid in Fair City – and she has more acting projects in the pipeline.
She was speaking at the launch of PINERGY yesterday – alongside Irish rugby hero Paul O’Connell.
