True Blood gets seventh season

Robert Kazinsky will be back for season seven of True Blood

True Blood has just been renewed for a seventh season, HBO has announced.

The hit vampire show starring Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and Robert Kazinsky will return with a new series in 2014, revealed The Hollywood Reporter.

The sixth season of the show begins in the UK on Fox this autumn and Robert Kazinsky recently revealed at the premiere of his new film Pacific Rim In Los Angeles they are still shooting episodes.

He said: "I've got to go off and do a night shoot until 7am."

The British actor joined the drama this year as fairy hybrid Ben, who is the new love interest of Anna's character Sooki.

He said: "They couldn't have been more welcoming, couldn't have been more generous and couldn't have been more fun to work with. Stephen's probably the nicest man I've ever met. He's such a good dude, almost illegally nice - I'm like, 'What do you want?!'

"Everyone on that set has been so welcoming to me from day one."

Robert promised UK viewers can expect: "Bad, bad things. Lots of sex, lots of violence and a lot of crazy stuff from me."

True Blood is HBO's third-most-watched original scripted series, behind The Sopranos and Game Of Thrones.
