Sinead O’Connor has decided to get the pair of tattoos on her face removed, just eighteen months after she got the inkings.
The singer took to her Twitter profile this morning to ask for advice on getting the tattoos removed.
“Ok, it's time to get this stupid sh*t off my face,” the 47-year-old wrote.
“Any1 know an excellent tattoo removal person? Someone said a guy in Harley st can do in one shot... Any1 know him? Or similar here? [sic].”
The singer was first pictured with the face tattoo while performing at the Big Top Stage at Bestival on the Isle of Wight in September.
O’Connor reportedly decided to get the ink on her cheek after she fell out with a man. She explained that she chose such a dominant spot on her face so she would never forget their argument.
The red ink tattoos were the initials ‘B’ and ‘Q’.
“Yes, yes. The B&Q jokes are funny,” she wrote on her website at the time.
“I had actually thought of getting an ‘&’ sign on my nose (not really).”
