IT was hardly what they expected her to do with her sponsorship fee, but superstar Britney Spears invested some of her €7m from Pepsi in shares from rival Coca-Cola.
Spears (31) was the face of Pepsi for two years while then rival Christina Aguilera fronted Coca Cola.
However it now appears despite the €7m pay cheque, the brand couldn’t buy Spears’ loyalty after she invested heavily in its rival.
The details were revealed in the latest court submission under her conservatorship.
Since her much publicised break down in 2007, Spears has no longer been in control of her own business or financial affairs.
A court appointed her father Jamie as conservator over her affairs, and it has widely been credited with saving the once troubled star’s life.
This week Spears announced a two year residency in Las Vegas – where she will net almost €300,000 per show.
The singer released her latest single ‘Work B**ch’ earlier this week – the first track from her eighth studio album which will be released in December.
