RUSSELL Brand cannot be accused of having a type, after stepping out with the ex of Hugh Grant Jemima Khan at the weekend.
The comedian and the European editor-at-large of Vanity Fair strolled around New York City yesterday and while they didn't hold hands, they looked very close.
Russell was even seen putting his arm around Jemima at one point as they enjoyed the East Village together.
Seeming comfortable around one another, Russell donned a navy shirt with dark blue jeans, adding some of his quirky style with a star-print scarf.
Jemima, 39, looked relaxed and chic in a pair of tight blue jeans and a fitted white shirt.
The socialite added expensive aviator sunglasses and a pair of heeled boots to her sophisticated look and accessorised with just one gold necklace
Jemima, who is the daughter of the late Lord Goldsmith, one of the UK’s wealthiest men, was married to the Pakistani cricketer turned politician Imran Khan, with whom she has two teenage sons.
She was a close personal friend of the late Princess Diana and told a recent issue of Vanity Fair that her royal friend was so "madly in love" with Pakistani surgeon Hasnat Khan that she wanted to marry him and move to Pakistan to be with him.
Khan and Brand are said to have known one another from the social circuit, were seen in London last week having dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant.
Brand wrote a defence of his alleged Nazi slur in the Observer yesterday, which Jemima tweeted to her 400,000 followers: “@rustyrockets at his best in The Guardian today (if you didn't know Hugo Boss made the Nazi's uniform, you do now)”
