Fresh from her break-up with actor Orlando Bloom in October, Miranda Kerr has dusted off her skinny jeans and reportedly got herself back on the dating wagon.

Who is the rumour mill linking the 30-year-old model to? Australian gambling magnate, James Packer.

For those unfamiliar with 46-year-old Packer, here's the low down. James (middle name Douglas) is the son of late media mogul, Kerry Packer. Having shifted the family business towards gambling and tourism, Packer is now pinned as Australia's richest man.

It was a mutual hometown, Gunnedah, and his business prowess that linked Miranda to him, after she sought his advice when embarking on her organic skincare range, Kora. Miranda and Orlando also holidayed with James and his family in Tahiti last year,  Page Six reports.

Coincidentally, James's second marriage to model Erica Baxter ended just 45 days before her relationship with Bloom. Neither Kerr or Packer are denying claims of their romance.

Kerr remains close friends with the father of their two-year-old, Flynn, and is regularly pictured with Orlando in New York.

The split was, reportedly ‘amicable’. It is not known why Packer split from the mother of his three children, Erica.
