Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has given birth to a baby girl, according to reports.
The Boston Globe writes that the 32-year-old welcomed a daughter Vivian on Wednesday, although no further details have been revealed.
This is the model’s second child with husband Tom Brady. Their son, Benjamin was born in 2009.
Brady also has a four-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Despite speculation for months that Gisele was pregnant, she only confirmed the news in a TV interview in August.
The couple, who were placed second on Forbes' most recent list of the highest-paid celebrity couples, moved into their newly-built $20 million mansion in California earlier this year.
Gisele has been previously been outspoken about childbirth and her comments have sparked controversy in the past. She famously insisted giving birth to Benjamin "wasn't painful, not even a little bit" and caused outrage when she insisted breastfeeding should be made a worldwide law.
Last month, a post appeared on her blog which likened hospital births to "violence".
"Most people are unaware what a birth without violence is like and its benefits to mother, baby, family and society,” the piece, which was not written by the star, read. “Many hospitals are like a mass production of babies, where routines are followed and the baby must be born as soon as possible.”
Gisele included a link to the post on her Twitter page. Her management team later insisted that although the model is an advocate of natural childbirth she hadn't read the article before it went live.
