"Jake from 'Two and a Half Men' means nothing," Jones said, referring to his character in a video posted online. "He is a non-existent character. If you watch 'Two and a Half Men', please stop watching. . . I'm on 'Two and a Half Men' and I don't want to be on it."
The reason for Jones's tirade against the show, which recently was forced to replace Sheen with Ashton Kutcher after the former made a series of public rants about his own drug use, appears to be religious. The comments came in a video put up by a group called the Forerunner Chronicles which, according to reports, is linked to Jones's Los Angeles church.
"Please stop watching it and filling your head with filth," the 19-year-old, who plays the nephew of Charlie (played, until the character was killed off, by Charlie Sheen).
In an apparent reference to the devil, the young man, who is reportedly paid around $350,000 (€270,000) per episode, added: "I don't want to be contributing to the enemy's plan. . . You cannot be a true God-fearing person and be on a television show like that. I know I can't. I'm not okay with what I'm learning, what the Bible says." (© Independent News Service)
