LA Galaxy star Robbie Keane and his family flew into Dublin airport last night, with enough baggage to suggest they are home for a while.
Keane jetted in from LA with wife Claudine and son Robert Junior and two trolly loads of suitcases, which the couple happily pushed themselves through the airport terminal after their long haul flight from the States.
The Ireland captain who scored the final goal in LA Galaxy’s cup final last weekend in California, is tipped to return the Premier League for another cameo this winter.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp hinted at the weekend, that the 32-year-old Tallaght man would be a welcome Christmas gift for his side, who struggled to draw with Wigan at the weekend.
“Robbie's a good pro and would be the ideal type to have around," said Redknapp, but he faces competition from Aston Villa, who he played for last winter, and Norwich.
However, the Christmas homecoming is tinged with sadness for the couple, as Claudine has revealed her grandmother is unwell.
The model and mum of one tweeted: “flew back to Ireland today to spend time with my Grandmother, she is very ill... Please pray for her.. Love you nanny!! Cx”
