Stars including Arlene Philips, Alex Jones and Sheridan Smith have teamed up for a bear-faced charity appeal.

They all posed make-up free for photographer Rankin to encourage other women to raise money for Children in Need by swapping their make-up for a paw print on Friday November 8.

One Show host Alex said: "There are so many children and young people across the UK who need our help, so how could I say no to the BBC Children in Need BearFaced campaign? Join me and hundreds of other women going Bearfaced November 8th."

The campaign encourages women to pick up a pawprint at the post office and get sponsored for spending the day without make-up.

Other stars involved include Kimberley Walsh and Jo Wood who said: "I'm so excited to be taking part in BBC Children in Need's BearFaced campaign this year. I hope that women across the UK will leave the make up at home for the day to help change the lives of children who really do need our help."
