Kristen Wiig and Liza Minnelli are among the all-star guest list who will appear in the long-awaited fourth season of Arrested Development, the cast has revealed.
Stars of the show including Jason Bateman, Michael Cera and Portia de Rossi were reunited on the orange carpet at the series premiere in Los Angeles, seven years after season three concluded.
Tony Hale, who plays Buster Bluth, said the new episodes would feature Hollywood heroes.
"We've got Liza Minnelli, Henry Winkler, we've got Kristen Wiig and I just heard we have John Krasinski. I didn't even know that, it's a surprise for everybody."
The comedian also revealed that the seven-year hiatus hasn't seen the characters grow up at all.
"There's a lot more dysfunction, as many surprises as there were the first time around," he said. "Seven years has done nothing, we're all still a mess, we're all just disasters."
Portia, who plays spoilt Lindsay Bluth Funke, was joined by her chat show host wife Ellen DeGeneres, who revealed she has been a fan of the show far longer than she has known her spouse.
"I was a fan before we were together, I presented them with the Emmy for best comedy before we were together so I've been a fan of the show since season one. I think it's hilarious."
Portia apparently shares an intimate love scene in the new season, and Ellen said: "I think she's a little nervous for me to see it!"
The comedy series premieres on Netflix in the UK on Sunday May 26.
