He is one Ireland's biggest sports stars but when it comes to his son, Robbie Keane is as hands-on as any parent.
The doting dads spent some quality time with their youngsters as they took some time off from duties on the rugby and football fields.
Enjoying a day out with dad, three-year-old Robert Keane Jnr accompanied the Ireland soccer captain as he helped launch a new partnership between the FAI and McDonald's.
On his best behaviour, the toddler was rewarded for his patience with a giant lollipop as his famous father posed for pictures.
Keane is back in Dublin perparing for Friday's crucial World Cup qualifier against Sweden in Stockholm. Another sporting hero, former Ireland rugby captain Brian O'Driscoll, cradled his baby girl Sadie as he and wife Amy Huberman arrived back on home soil following his testimonial dinner in London.
The event was attended by 2,000 figures from the world of sport, business, and entertainment who gathered to pay tribute to the rugby player who has amassed 125 caps for Ireland. Among the most high-profile figured to attend was dad-to-be, Britain's Prince William.
He spent the entire evening at the function before slipping quietly out the back door to rejoin his pregnant wife, Kate, who is expecting their first child in July and opted to stay at home.
