SHE'S used to wearing floor-length gowns with high heels and elaborate hairstyles, but actress Keira Knightley opted for simplicity for her wedding day.
It is a look favoured by several well-known brides, including supermodel Kate Moss and Irish model Aoife Cogan. However, no one can pull off 'boho chic' quite like Knightley. The A-list star chose a strapless, knee-length, off-white dress with a tulle skirt to marry her musician boyfriend James Righton in the south of France over the weekend.
It is believed to be the same Rodarte frock she wore to a pre-BAFTA party in 2008.
Knightley wore her hair down, with a garland of flowers draped over her head instead of a veil. She completed her bridal outfit with a pair of ballet pumps and a short jacket by Chanel.
The ceremony took place in Mazan, near Avignon, and was attended by only a handful of family and friends.
Knightley began dating her husband, the keyboardist in indie rock band Klaxons, after being introduced by mutual friend, television presenter Alexa Chung. They got engaged last summer.
The 28-year-old was previously in a five-year relationship with her 'Pride and Prejudice' co-star Rupert Friend.
However, the pair split in January 2011.
