Jessica Simpson has accidentally let slip she is expecting a baby boy, with a bizarre comment about sausages on a talk show.
The actress and singer - who is mother to 10-month-old daughter Maxwell with American footballer fiance Eric Johnson - was talking to Jimmy Kimmel Live about her pregnancy.
Jessica said: "Oh my gosh, it's a total different pregnancy. I just feel awful. I've been vomiting and... the crazy thing is I never knew that a wiener could actually make me feel nauseous."
As Jimmy and the audience laughed, Jessica gasped and added: "well I guess I just told the world that I'm having a boy!"
Jimmy admitted he didn't have a clue what she had meant, but Jessica had already confirmed it.
Jessica, 32, is set to play herself in an, as yet, untitled NBC sitcom - with actors playing her dad and Eric.
She has put her wedding plans to Eric, who she been engaged to for two years, on hold until the baby is born.
