Kim Kardashian better watch out, little sister Kendall Jenner is emerging as the family's new superstar.
The 18-year-old model, who has walked for Marc Jacobs, Chanel and appeared in Vogue in the last six months alone, is taking on a new venture - the Cannes Film Festival.
The reality tv star made her surprising debut at the most glamorous film festival in the world last night, walking the red carpet for the premiere of Grace of Monaco alongside A-listers such as Nicole Kidman, Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana and Jane Fonda.
Having already impressed to notoriously selective Karl Lagerfeld since their runway collaboration, Jenner wore a Chanel couture dress at the opening ceremony last night. She accessorised with a complementary Chanel clutch and Chopard jewels.
"No ones putting a ring on it so I put 2 #FestivalDeCannes #Chopard," she wrote on her Instagram before attending the premiere last night.
While her star has continued to steadily rise in recent years, 2014 is set to be Jenner's biggest year yet.
She has recently been linked as the newest face of Topshop after wearing a couture gown by the uber-hip high street store at this year's Met Gala - which she was invited to personally by Anna Wintour.
"Kendall is being lined up to be one of the new Topshop regulars," an insider said.
"She fits the mould perfectly. She's beautiful, tall, popular with teenagers on both sides of the Atlantic and will help expand the Topshop brand in the US."
