Sharon Osbourne has said she is "devastated" by husband Ozzy's confession he had suffered a relapse of drink and drug abuse, but insisted they are not getting a divorce.
The 64-year-old rocker has battled drink and drug addiction for many years and last week confessed on his Facebook page he had been drinking and taking drugs again, and said sorry to his family amid reports he was living separately from his wife.
Now Sharon has opened up on US show The Talk, which she co-hosts, saying: "I never knew he was using prescription drugs. I knew he was drinking occasionally, but didn't realise to the extent. It's our business, we're dealing with it. We're not getting divorced."
She went on: "I am devastated right now. It's a disease that not only hurts the person who has the disease, but it hurts the family. It hurts people who love you."
Sharon and Ozzy have been married for over 30 years and have three children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
Sharon, who has battled cancer and seen two of her children also go to rehab for addiction problems, said: "This too shall pass... Otherwise my husband will be taken to hospital to get my foot removed from his a**."
Ozzy wrote on his Facebook page last week: "For the last year and a half I have been drinking and taking drugs. I was in a very dark place and was an a**hole to the people I love most, my family. However, I am happy to say that I am now 44 days sober."
