It's official. Ryan Tubridy is able to do downtime occasionally. The host-in-waiting of the Late Late Show and his girlfriend Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain (don't worry -- I can't pronounce it either) were sitting outside O'Donoghues on Thursday night.
My Deep Throat on Baggot Street told me that Aoibhinn looked "a lot more Hollywood glam then her usual dressed-down look". Roughly translated, this means the pretty television presenter, who won the Rose of Tralee in 2005, was showing a little flesh. An off-the shoulder top and skinny jeans to be precise.
"She strutted the length of the bar as if she was on a catwalk," said my mole, before adding, a tad excitably: "The two were with friends. It was obvious that they get on well and were subtly affectionate with each other throughout the evening."
Doubtless it was a late, late show for Ryan and Aoibhinn.
Ronnie Wood made a bit of a late show himself on Thursday night in Tesco in Naas with his daughter Leah. My sister Karen, owner of Creative Adacemy and Spa (a favourite of Lisa Murphy's), was walking down the aisle when she bumped into the Rolling Stone in lime green Uggs and a fuzzy grey cardie. Stop me before I turn into Jumping Hack Trash!
