Rihanna's stage held at border
Rihanna was 90 minutes late to one of her gigs when her stage was held at the Canadian border for the second time in five days.
The Diamonds singer was actually at the venue in Winnipeg with plenty of time to spare, but was left waiting for the trucks with her stage equipment and props to turn up.
The 25-year-old star tweeted: "They held my trucks at the border!!! This is not a good look for Winnipeg! My stage is in those trucks, disassembled! #DiamondsWorldTour."
Panicked tweets from the singer continued as time ticked by with no appearance by the missing trucks.
She said: "This means, the entire production could potentially start at a later time #staytuned #WINNIPEG #tourlife #DiamondsWorldTour."
And later: "My bus and I are at the venue! Still no trucks!!! #tourlife #WINNIPEG."
Rihanna's fears turned out to be well founded as the trucks were eventually released but arrived so late that it put her show back by 90 minutes.
It follows an incident a few days earlier when the tour buses were also stopped at the Canadian border and traces of marijuana were found on a passenger, although according to gossip website TMZ Rihanna was not on board at the time.
Loyal fans at the Diamonds tour date in Winnipeg still gave her a warm welcome when she finally arrived on stage, opening with Phresh Out The Runway.
