Rihanna has revealed that she prefers her men to take charge.

The Diamonds singer, who has dated rappers Chris Brown and Drake, told US GQ that she is happy to hand the reins over to the guy when she's in a relationship.

"I like to feel like a woman," said the 24-year-old, when asked about what turns her on.

"I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, like I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead."

She added: "Love makes you go places you probably wouldn't ever go, had it not been for love. But I think everybody still has their limits."

Rihanna - who will play surprise shows in seven European cities in seven days on her 777 tour for the release of her seventh album Unapologetic on November 19 - bares almost all in the racy shoot for the men's magazine, with just a black leather jacket and strategically placed hands to cover her modesty.

She previously denied rumours that she had rekindled her romance with Chris in a Facebook Live interview, saying: "No. Not together."

The singer, who made her acting debut in sci-fi action movie Battleship, was more open about Daniel Craig's suggestion that she would make a better Bond girl than Beyonce.

"I think Rihanna - she's dirtier," the British actor told, to which Rihanna tweeted: "This makes me happy :)."
