Removal men spotted at Lawson home
Removal men have been spotted taking boxes of items from the home of Nigella Lawson, little over a week after her husband was given a police caution for assault.
Crates and cases were seen being loaded into a van outside their home in Chelsea, west London, and are thought to have been taken to the bolthole in which she has been staying for several days.
Last week photographs of the TV chef and her millionaire husband Charles Saatchi were published which showed him holding her by the throat as they had an argument on the terrace of a restaurant.
He dismissed the incident as nothing more than "a playful tiff" last week but then accepted a police caution for assault. He said he had done so to stop the incident "hanging over" them.
Nigella, who has subsequently been pictured without her wedding ring, has described him as "the exploder" in the past due to his temper.
A representative for Domestic Goddess Nigella did not wish to comment about the items being moved from her home.
After the pictures of the row were published, art collector Saatchi accepted they looked "horrific".
