THEIR schedules didn’t allow them to honeymoon after their August wedding, but Chris O’Dowd and wife Dawn Porter appear to be on a working honeymoon as they turned up on the red carpet in Hollywood last night.

The newly weds attended the premiere of Chris’s new movie ‘This is 40’ at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood where they rubbed shoulders with his costars including Paul Rudd, Megan Fox and Jason Segel.

The couple are starting their honeymoon in California, where Dawn tweeted earlier in the week about the difficulty of finding a swimwear:

‘The weather here in LA is glorious but still nowhere sells swimwear coz it's winter. These people are spoilt & I am bikiniless for honeymoon,’ she tweeted.

Their attendance at the LA premiere meant the couple missed the British Comedy Awards last night in London, where Chris’s Sky One comedy Moone Boy was nominated in the best new comedy catagory.

It lost out on the night however to Julia Davis's spoof period drama 'Hunderby' which also won best sitcom.

Last week Chris admitted there is one woman apart from Dawn who can turn his head:

"Beyoncé is the most amazing woman in the world. Waaay before Dawn," he joked. "If Beyoncé looked at me twice I would forget Dawn's name."
