Gordon Ramsay will feature in a US cartoon

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will have to watch his words when he voices a character in Disney's animated series Phineas And Ferb.

The potty-mouthed Scottish star of Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares is set to lend his voice to a cook called Chef in an upcoming episode of the show alongside Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn.

Gordon, 46, proves he has a sense of humour as he takes the mickey out of himself in the October 18 episode titled Thanks But No Thanks, when Chef decides to fire one of his employees.

He is the latest British celebrity to voice a character in the Emmy-winning and Bafta-nominated comedy series, with previous stars including David Beckham, Damian Lewis, Jamie Oliver, Simon Pegg, David Mitchell and Gary Lineker.

Gordon's guest appearance will be shown on Disney XD on October 18.
